It's an Apache built gun, a client of mine picked it up and brought it over for load development. We packed as much AA2200 in that case as we could and got it over 2950fps. But the 2850 node was huge so we stuck with it.

That is great with the vmax! Carpesus on you tube has used the Speer 90 grain TNT with great results on hogs. The velocity window must be real good for the varmint bullets to perform so well with this cartridge.

Here is my 6mm Grendel (6AR) semi auto pistol.

Silhouette legal (IHMSA) for barrel length and overall length.

Brux 1-8 - shoot the 105 Bergers at 500m on 10" steel plates all day long, from a 20 round mag.

Have seriously considered adding a bi-pod and hunting with it.....

That's what I was expecting to, lol. Here in PA we usually call them woodchucks or groundhogs - never heard anyone around here abbreviate it to hogs, lol. I did spend a lot of my youth (6th grade through high school) growing up in East TN a bit north of what then (over 60 years ago) was the prime boar hunting area in East TN, so that's why my thought was the same as yours.

Biggest one I ever got was 245.
