6.5 gren and 105 Sierra bk

I picked up a box of the 105 Sierra bk to try out of my 20” ar rifle. Anybody have any luck with these bullets ? Trying for a little more speed than the 123 class

It ought to shoot just fine. In my quest for more Grendel speed, I used the 95 gr Hornady V-Max for a while. It shot fine, and I even used it on a few decent sized hogs. Accurate and kills hogs, and a couple of coyotes. I was afraid it might be too fragile, but at Grendel speeds, I guess not.

Yea. I hope I can get it to shoot decent. I have a blue million 85s and 90gr pills. Maybe can get this one to be good at distance and laying the law down on coyotes

The Sierra 107 MK and the 107 TMK are other options, but I don't know how they would perform on game. I'd start with the tipped version for a hunting experiment. The plastic tip should help expansion.

The regular 107s shoot extremely well in my AR.
