6.5 Dasher information please

I am interested in having a rifle built in 6.5 Dasher, but find little information here. Can someone point me in the right direction? I need to learn a lot more about this cartridge, and then find a source for a smith/reamer/dies before proceeding. Thanks in advance for any reply.

Hi i have a 6mm Dasher and it is awsome if i was you i would look at the new 6.5X47 Lapua case it has a 30 degree shoulder and should be the perfect small 6.5 and it feeds like butter through any small action that was a 308 tyoe case. The 6.5 Dasher will be a custom set of dies and the new Lapua case will do anything the Dasher will plus a little more i would stick a 7 twist barrel in it and use any 6.5 projectile ever made.

Ok, maybe a little more information will help others help me. I understand the possibilities of the 6 x 47 Lapua, but it may not be the best fit for my purposes.

I am looking to build a rifle for highpower rifle silhouette, and want to keep recoil to a minimum, yet have the punch to take rams down at 500 meters. Yeah, I could go with a simple 7BR, shoot the 175's, and be home free. But I have to believe that a 6.5 Dasher firing the 140 or 142 Sierras would also do the job, with less recoil. If I am wrong, please show me the error of my ways....

I have to agree with the wild one here. Why would you go through all the case forming and high priced loading dies to shoot that same 142 grain bullet at that same velocity? Plus, the 6.5x47 Lapua will operate at lower pressure and will be so much more versatile because you will have that extra boiler room if you need it.
