6.5 Creedmore build on armalite a10 frame

I'm thinking about re barreling my armalite A 10 into a 6.5 Creedmore. Don't know what twist I should have on the barrel. Looking at a lot of forums on the 6.5 and I see most are between 8 and 10" twist and 120 to 140gr bullets with most using 4350 powder. Any pros or cons

We'll need a little more on your intent with that rifle.

My 6.5CM is a 1-8.5 It shoots 142SMK without problems, and I won't be using anything heavier. I haven't tried anything lighter than 120gr, but I don't forsee a problem there either. I built mine for long-range. The 120-145gr bullets offer the high BC of 6.5 and good velocity from the 6.5CM

Another option:

My Armalite AR-10 in 6.5 x 47L shoots 108 scenars to 140 Berger hybrids to 600 yards with ease.

If I load the Berger hunting 130 bullet it bores holes in deer at 200 plus yards with no corrections.

I shoot the 108 scenar suppressed at 547 yards, in steel plate competition and rapid fire because the recoil is very mild. Recoil is like a hot .223.
