6.5 Creedmore Brass

Is anyone aware of a reason why Hornady 6.5 Creedmore brass is so hard to find or am I just not looking in the right place? My Midway order is still BO'd since 3/3/10.

I guess for the same reason that 6.5 Creedmoor ammo is so hard to find. I was able to get a couple hundred pieces of brass (new) from a guy that was selling his stuff last month, but you are right -- it is hard to find.

Did you look at creedmoor sports? Give them a call and they will give you the scoop! Good Luck! I really like the 6.5 creedmoor and i think it is a better design than the 6.5x47L. And i also think that the new Hornady brass is almost as good as Lapua, close enough that i couldnt tell any difference!! The last 6.5 creedmoor i had would shoot in the .2's At 100 yards. These bigger chamberings arent supposed to do that on a regular basis, but mine would. I never got a chance to shoot any distance with it, as i was offered enough cash to part ways with her. If i ever go with another 6.5mm it will be the creedmoor!! Good luck friend! Lee

When I was making a decision about which round to go with for a long range target rifle I debated the 260 Rem vs the 6.5 Creedmore. I chose the Creedmore and have been very pleased with the performance of the cartridge. I now need some more brass and the lack of availability has seriously cramped my ability to use my rifle. Now I wonder if I made the right choice.

I ordered some brass from Creedmoor Sports a while back and just got notification that they shipped it. Don't know if they have more.

brass for the creedmoor shouldnt be that hard to find! Go to snipershide and ask around. I would call creedmoor sports first though. have you done that?? Lee

Make it from 22-250 brass, run an expander ball through it to .264 and fire form and you're done. Lapua 22-250 brass will be available within a month from most places.

I got an e-mail from Midway that my brass shiped on 5-25, and should arrive soon. As of today 5-28 it hasn't reached me. Should have it by June 1 even with the holladay.

Just got e-mails from Midway and Creedmore that they both have stock, and my order from Black Hills just shipped so Hornady must have made another run.

Got my brass on 5-30. Looks good, weight spread is small so far. I'm back in business.
