What are some thoughts on the Bergara B14 Timber chambered in 6.5. Saw one priced at 750 new

Welcome to the forums!

The Timber is one of two rifles Bergara introduced as entry level rifles priced under $1,000.00 MSRP. We've had several in the shop just for add-ons no repairs. Test firing showed good accuracy with factory ammunition and the barrels cleaned up quickly. In my opinion, using a small sample set, the barrels are excellent in quality.

Thanks for the welcome and the info on the 6.5. I have the same gun in .308 and love it so hence when I saw it on Gunbroker for 749 I figured I would jump on it.

Well, I just ordered one in 300wm. Should be here in a week or so. We will see if all the hype is real. My local gun shop said they talked to Bergara at shot show and they said the current pricing is just introductory, the prices will be going up later this year. I figured it was time to pull the trigger before they go up.
