View attachment 1056505 I recently had Alex Wheeler built a Remington/ Krieger 8.5 twist (26" Remington Varmint Taper) 6.5 Creedmoor for varmint shooting. Will be able to shoot eastern coyotes out to 800 yards in a rolling field behind a butcher shop that deposits scraps across the field. As I am very unfamiliar with the Creed and I would appreciate advise on loads for the task. Will be using Berger 130 VLD hunting orange box thin jacket as I have 900 to burn. Breaking in barrel (6 shot above) at 100 yards with 41 grains of Varget and CCI 450 primers at @3010 fps the rifle shot a number of .200 to .300 groups but at 300 yards the groups had about 2" of vertical.
Thanks for the help.
PS: My nephew will also be using it in PRS competition.

It all depends on what brass you go with. Hornady has the most case capacity, Lapua less,, Alpha and Peterson even less.
