6.5 Creedmoor hunting loads

So what are you guys using for hunting loads? Im not going to use an AMAX for hunting big game. I know some people will profess their successes with the AMAX's for larger animals, but Im not going to regardless. Im looking at the Accubond, Interbond, GMX etc etc. Anyone got any experiences?

I'm not shooting a Creedmoor, but I can vouch for the 140 accubonds in terms of accuracy and terminal performance on white-tail and cow elk. I'm shooting them about 2975 fps out of a 6.5-284.

I tried the 140 accubonds and couldnt get decent accuracy.Do you have to drive them to the max for best results or will a milder load work in your estimation.

The the Bergers. I use the 140vld at 2950 in my 6.5Creedmoor (28 inch bbl and Re17) and not only is it accurate, but its devestating on deer. Just dont hit meat or you can stay bye to that portion!

In both a 6.5x55 and .260 the 120 Ballistic Tips work really well. I also shoot the 140 Partitions at 2800 from the 6.5x55. They are hard on deer and hogs. Good expansion and penetration.

x2 the 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tip...very accurate and effective on game from my 22" 260, even moving rather lazily at 2675fps.

I never have been a fan of Balllistic Tips for deer, sorry. But has anyone used the Interbonds yet?

I use the 130 gr Accubond with H4350, very accurate and deadly on deer

Is that out of a 6.5x284? I've shot a lot of Creedmoor and that's a lot of speed for a 140g bullet in a CM. If it is a CM you must have a very long barrel. ;D Exactly how much RL-17 are you stuffing in that case?

I can believe over 3000fps out of the 6.5CM with R17 in a long bbl. I run a 28inch and get just under 3000fps safely.

42 grains of H4350, work up to it but I don't believe its a hot load by any means.
