6.5 creedmoor bullet recommendation

Savage 110 BA Stealth. Shoots factory 143 eld-x @5/8 MOA all day. Steel to 10" steel to 1,000 consistantly. Tried the Berger EOL 156's never got better than a 1MOA. Most likely something i was doing.

Decided to go back to the 143 eld-x's found them @ optics planet and ordered 2 boxes. ..... Just got an email they wont ship till spring. So........ Now I am looking for a good alternative.

requirements.
Good to 1000 yards on steel,
good terminal performance on game to 600.
and lastly.... BE AVAILABLE!

thanks for the recommendations in advance.

Right now the "BE AVAILABLE" part no matter what kind of 6.5 CM ammo you want to shoot is going to be your biggest problem because finding any anywhere is a near impossibility and what's even worse, I don't see it getting any better any time soon. Hopefully, for those that don't reload, I am wrong about that.

1st off, I firmly believe that anything over 143 eldx is better suited in a cartridge with more volume than the creedmoor.
Any BC gain you might get from the heavier bullet will be lost to velocity, whereas a lighter bullet traveling faster will fly flatter and not be pushed around as much.
I would see what I could find in 130-142gr bullets.
My favorite bullet is Lapua scenar 136L'S, coupled with H4831SC, cci200.

I've had very good accuracy out of Sierra 130 TGK. I haven't shot anything with them but I see no reason they won't perform. Also they shot well just seated to mag length. No tinkering around to get them to shoot.

I would start reloading. Factory ammo will never shoot as good as a properly tuned load. You list some pretty stiff requirements for factory ammo in my opinion.

I had great luck with 123 ELDm and 130 vld from Berger
Recently loaded some 129ELDX that worked really well on deer and coyote.

I apologize, didn't notice the last part. I have had very good luck with the Berger 140 Elite Hunter accuracy wise. Have not shot any large game with it however. Grafs and EuroOptics has them in stock.
