6.5 Creedmoor, Alternative powders?

Everybody knows that H4350, for the most part, is the go too powder.

Not me. Found out early on that while H4350 was the "everybody knows " powder for 6.5CM, it really was not as good as some others. Seldom use it now. RL-16 does 6.5CM better!

When looking to try something other than Hodgdon or Alliant in the creedmore I have had good luck with the staball 6.5 win powder using cci 34 primers and 130gr eldm bullets at 45 gr powder and 2.800 col. They are running at 2800 fps and shooting decent 2-3’s without much effort.

Not in the Western Hemisphere. I've been looking. Um, other than for about 5mins last week at Powder Valley. But, otherwise, I haven't seen it pop up but once or twice in the past 18mos.

Of course, it's on GunBroker. Only costs an arm and a lung, but you get to keep the leg. Rarely has it come below $400 (on GB), when it's available for sale at all. But, if you gotta have it ...

I have experience with a few other powders, of which, I think may be good, but I'm new to the creed, and happy to be so.
What results, are folks getting from, XMR8208, and 100V. .
I've used them in similar cases, but wonder how they perform in the creed. Comments appreciated in advance.

RL-16 gave me really fast velocity. Surprisingly, H4895 performed pretty well too. N140 and N150 as well.

Second on Staball. 43.6-44 grains with 140-142s.

I tested re 26 under a 140 Interlock the other day and got super accuracy at 2889 fps.

26 gives me about 2850 with a 147. I took the speed as a pressure sign because there weren’t others.

I’ve never burned a kernel of h4350 in my 6.5. RL26, RL15, RL16, yes, and I’ll even try some 15.5 soon and AR Comp. Yes, I like Alliant powders.
