6.5 Creed and H4895

H4895 will work if you use loads that are 15, 20% lower than what you see published for H4350. You leave much velocity on the table. Use a slower powder.

Hodgdon lists around 34 gr as max with 130 / 140 gr bullets.
Case fill ratio will not be ideal, but you can try and find out if it works out.

When I used 4895 I was able to get 3 shots in one hole @ 100. The 4350 was also 3 shots in one hole as was the Varget. So I am using what I have the most of and saving the best powder for later.
Sierra shows Varget as the accuracy load for the Creedmoor in 140 grain type bullets.

How many grains of H4895 were you using in the load?
Bullet weight?
Thanks

I'm wondering how 4895 would work with 100-120 gr bullets
I dont know about 100s, but it worked pretty well with 120s in my 22" Ruger American. Not sure if I ran it to max pressure with H4895 due to a limited amount of that powder here. Got up to 2900fps with 39gr. in Horny brass & 120gr. Ball.Tips. with 3/4" or a little smaller groups @100yds.

RL16 & Superformance beat that velocity by c. 100 & 125 fps respectively, both at max pressure, with equal accuracy. I doubt if a deer would know the difference. IMR 4166 ran out of speed at a tad over 2800 with smaller groups but max pressure, while 4451 was pretty disapponting in group size with all speeds to 2900 where I quit. Wanting to try some StaBall but am almost out of 120s for now.
