6.5 C/M pet load with Staball 6.5 powder and Sierra 130 gr bullets?

I see alot of information with people reloading with 140 grain bullets, but is anyone reloading with 130 grain bullets. What’s your best recommendation or advice?

I'll look at my load book and report back ASAP. I just went through testing in a hunting Creedmoor with a 20" barrel. Couldn't get speeds i wanted with 140 TGKs so I switched to 130 TGKs. I'm using staball 6.5 and IIRC the speeds i settled on were around 2800fps. SRP lapua with cci 450s

Looked today.
20" barrel.

130gr TGKs - I'm at 44.6gr Staball 6.5 in Lapua SRP brass, CCI 450s, COAL 2.750. Averaging 2810 and one hole 3-shot grips at 100, 1" 3-shot groups at 300.

I was getting pressure at 2650fps with Berger 140s and 2700fps gave me pressure with the 140TGKs and wanted more speed than 2600/2700ish so I went down to 130s.

So far, impressed with the 130s.

Not the combo you're looking for, but I shoot them in my 260 Rem. I think I'm jumping them around .015" and pushing around 3000 out of a 26" barrel with N160.

This is not going to be the combo you're looking for either, but RL 16 44.5 grains berger 130 grain OTM hybrid with a cci 450 lapua brass. 2960 mv. 24" barrel bolt gun.

I think lapua makes a 130 or 132 gr bullet that was the cats meow a few years ago.

With the 130's, go to a faster powder such as R-15.5 or Vhitavouri 140.
