6.5 BR ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE

THINKING ABOUT ONE , ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN A RIFLE , THINKING ABOUT A 9 TWIST KREIGER WITH 100GR - 123GR BULLETS

Have a 6.5 BRX 1in8. Will drive tacks with 107's and 140's, 140;s group tighter.
The 123's shoot good as well but to $ for me.

All i know is it shoots flatter than my 6 br with 80 gr bergers/

I'm building one now on a Stiller P-1000 action and a Kreiger 8.5 twist barrel. Had my reamer cut for the 107 Sierra HPBT. With the powders out there I should be able to get to 2900+ with no pressure. I will cut the barrel to 26 or 28 inch length. My reamer will not be done till Feb. I'm looking forward to shooting this round and I think it has lots of merit and could be great out to 600 yards and maybe more. I certainly feel it will be competitive or I would not be spending the money to build it. I have gotten some shooting stats from other people and they do look good. Good luck and good shooting...PS JGS is doing the reamer and the dies can be made from others that are close, 6.5X47 shortened and cleaned up with a 6mmBR reamer for example makes a great bullet seating die. A 6mmBR shoulder bump die opened up with the right insert is for neck tension, and a 30BR full length sizing die works for the 6.5 just fine.
