In a f class savage factory chamber shooting smk 142's how are you seating them,tight to the lands or letting them jump a little

In mine I started just about just past touching and pressures rose quickly to the point a median load was too hot. So be careful as you load just test rounds. I would load only 3 of each weight of powder you are using in case pressure rears its ugly head. If touching or at zero cause's pressure just seat .010 and so on further away and reseat the existing ones you couldn't shoot and start the process over again.
