Had a 28in 1:8 that I sold along with load data but I was shooting 80gr Sierra Blitz @ 3625fps using H4350. Look on Hodgdon load data and do ladder test to find max and then back off. If you're going to use it for coyotes you are going to like it.

Look up posts by Ironworker here on 6mmbr.com, he has extensive work with a fast twist 6-284 and RL17.

I use RL22 for 200yard and closer work and RL17 for the long shots.

I had a 1 in 12 Shilen 26-inch barrel that I used to shoot the 87 grain Hornady's in. The most fun cartridge/bullet combo I have ever had for mid to semi long range PD shooting. I shot them at around 3,550 FPS and killed PDs out to 1,020 yards. It will vaporize them out to 500 yards.

I used H4831SC in the 55 grain range. Please work up to this since I'm going off memory and working up is always a great idea. Good PD accuracy will only last around 1,000 rounds and then the throat will resemble a dry year in the Sahara.
