6 /22 BR trim length??

This might get long but hang in there. Got a shooting buddy that is 'anal' when it comes to his reloading data.,In this case, anal is good because he keeps me in line ;).)
We've been going back and forth about the min. and max. case length of our 6 and 22 BR cases.
I've got Nosler, Sierra and Accurate Arms load books and they're all different as to the trim specs.
I guessing that they are using the 'Remington' case specs as their base.

Sierra Edition V lists the 6 BR trim length at 1.550 and the 22 BR at 1.510.
Accurate Arms # 2 lists the 6 BR trim length at 1.500 and the 22 BR at 1.510.
Nosler #6 for the 6 BR doesn't say 'trim to', it just shows 1.560 and the 22 BR shows the length at 1.520.
Do we throw all the specs in a hat, reach in and pick one?
I use my 'actual' chamber length as a guide.
My 6 BR chamber measures 1.580 and my 22 BR measures 1.584.
None of my brass has ever got to the 'actual' chamber length so I don't trim unless needed. I trim to,max) 1.560 or just a little longer with Lapua / Norma brass.
Are there any load books that use the Lapua / Norma case specs?
I would guess that there arn't that many rifles chambered to the Remington cases anymore. And with most of the smiths using the Lapua/Norma reamers, why arn't the load books up to date on the Lapua / Norma specs?
Any and all input/opinions will be appreciated. Thanks,Mike.
