5r rifling and cleaning rods

Hi
I've ended up with some 5r .308 barrels.
One thing I have noticed compared to my other barrels is that unless the patch is extremely tight it's not inclined to follow the twist.
I use pro shot naked rods. They rotate fine in "standard" rifling.
Is it just me or is this something with 5r to be wary of?

Thanks.

All of my barrels have been 5R for many years, and I've seen no issues. I use Parker-Hale wrap-style jags, but I don't need much pressure to run them through the bore.

Thanks both, just to confirm, have you put a mark on your cleaning rods and watched the rotation?
A new bronze brush rotates the rod fine but nylon brushes or just the jag don't.

Pro shot rods don't have bearings so aren't ideal.

Ended up making my own using centerless ground lineal guide rod and a couple of bearings.
