55gr Btip Load for 6mmbr?

Anybody have any data to share on the 55gr btip for the BR? I only have H335, varget, and H4895 on hand right now and can't get my hands on any other powder right now due to shortage. I plan on jumping them .010 to .015.

Start at 30 grains of H335 and go up in 1/4 grain inciments from there to a max of about 32.5

Have to admit I could never get the 55's to shoot as well as the 65 V-max in my 1:10 twist
With RL-10X I was getting almost the same velocity with the 65 V-max as I was with the 55NBT and the 65V-max Hit harder

now the accuracy of the 55 wasn't BAD per se but the groups were no where near as consistantly round in their shape compared to the 65 V-max.
The 55's always seems to print an odd shaped groups like there was a flyer waiting to happen

Ogre I to have a 1-10 twist and am getting ready to load some 65 VMax any suggestions on a load for them besides the RL-10x I have H4895, Varget, & VV N135 Thanks

My 1 in 12 PacNor shoots 55gr Blitzkings great with 32.5 gr. of H 322. It also groups great with 34 grains of Varget. Out to 350 yards which is as far as I get to shoot at Pennsylvania chucks it is a great killer.

sorry
No joy
never tried any of those powders
my load book says Varget and my 2208 is the same
so start with 31 grains and 34 grains is max and a compressed load per the book

The best 55gr load in my gun is with AA2230 powder and a 7-1/2BR primer. Groups in the low .1"s at 34.5gr=3777 and again at 35.5gr=3919. Bullets .005" off the lands. Barrel 24" Hart 14twist, chamber has 0 freebore.

My 20 inch Hart 6br 14 T XP-100 loves H-322 and the 55 grain BT.
It also has a fond liking for the 66 grain Fowler flat base, both with 7 1/2's....

I've got some 55btips loaded up with H335 and even loaded a few with H4895 to try when the weather gets better. In order to get adequate bullet in the neck, I'm going to jump them quite a bit.

My Shilen 1/14 24 inch barrel likes the 55BK, rem 71/2 primers, 32 grains of H4895. The H4895 out groups the H322 a bit. I also seat them so long,,its short bullet) there is barely any bullet in the case, but it really works. Be sure to work up your loads. George

Results were not too bad. It was a little windy, the lighter loads seem to do a little better, H335 grouped around .6 and a modest H4895 load was .450. All groups were 5 shots at 100 yds. I think the H4895 load will do fine on pdogs, but the berger 88LD shot .348 for 5. I only have 2 other groups recorded with that load, .275 for 3 shots and .098 for 4. Just not sure the velocity will be there for satifying varmint performance.
