55 grain blitz king in 243

anyone have any experience with these. have 9.25 twist. i can't wait for ground hogs to wake up. it's killing me.

I can't get them to shoot well in my 243 unless I slow them down to 3700 fps, I have a 1 in 10" twist. If you want Varmint carnage I have found the 70 grain SBK's shoot a lot better and will hold onto the energy further out. 87 grain V-maxes also do well.

i got 100 coming. i'm going to give them a whirl. if i can't get em to shoot then i guess i'll go back to 70 grainers. i've shot smk and nbt 70 grainers. they shoot nice. stinks if they don't work

i'm also looking for an explosion on ground hogs this summer. lol.

Hornady do a 65 gr V-MAX for the 243w, but never here of anyone using them………I wouldn’t discount the tried and tested soft points they were always good for large holes and masses of destruction.
