505 Balance Scale?

I'm looking for a balance scale and see this one mentioned often. When I checked the specs, it shows the weights in ounces. I know there's a conversion chart on the base of the scale, just wondering how much of a chore it is to do the conversion?

Yes - I have an old 505 and that is precisely correct.

I figured the scale is produced for reloading, so it should be using grain increments.

The older scales with a larger chassis and plastic dust cover such as the Ohaus 10-05 or Lyman M-5 will serve you well.

Never heard of a reloading scale reading ounces? Anyhow the easy to remember conversion is 7000 Grains to the pound.

I have bought a couple 10-10 scale from here and Flea-bay. Love them. I kind of got hooked buying them but have weaned myself off that habit now.
