March match results.

The wind was really tough to read for everybody today but we made it through it. We had several new shooters and they did pretty good for the conditions. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody at the next match and getting to shoot again. Hopefully with a little less wind.

It was a cool start to the morning but it ended up being a beautiful day to shoot. The wind was a little switchy as usual, but we had to overcome it.
Good shooting today. John, you had me very nervous for a while. We missed you today. Scooter.

May match results.

It was a beautiful day to shoot. There was a couple of surprise contenders today. Michael and Wayne were shooting 223 AI,s built by S&S precision. They ended up taking second and third place. They actually met in the bracket at the end and tied and had to go to the tiebreaker stage which is a 2-in orange dot On the large piece of paper. Closest to center wins. Wayne shot first and was a half inch from dead center. Then Michael shot and he was 1/8 of an inch from the edge of the orange dot. That was some outstanding shooting by those two gentlemen.

Cold bore winner was 14-year-old Jacob, for one well-placed shot he got to take home a handful of cash. That young man is going to be a force to deal with in the future. He was shooting his brand new built S&S precision rifle.
