50 grain .20 caliber Sierra Blitzking

A few years ago it was stated that Sierra has a 50 grain .20 caliber Blitzking on the books. As I recall, someone “in the know” said that their inside source had verified that the bullets exist (at least on paper) but Sierra had the project on hold. Can anyone confirm this?

I think alot of people were hoping it was true but as far as I know it never materialized.

I have never heard that, so I bought all the 50gr 20 cal Berger I could find to shoot in my 20 PPC. I think I’m still sitting on about 4100 of them. I sure wish Sierra would make a 50gr tipped bullet. I use this gun for LONG range p-dogs.

What twist are you guys using?

I am using a 8.5 twist PAC-NOR barrel shooting the 50 grain Berger bullets at about 3500+ FPS in my 20 PPC. DEADLY

I'm using a 9 in a 20BRAI AT 3750FPS

I went with a 9 twist for the 20 Dasher.I am at high altitude so it works fine.Have thought about an 8.5 depending on case and bullet.As a side note it worked well in South Dakota too.
