Well I finally made it out for the first time in at least a month! Work, damned Trump, "honey do" list, weather and family stuff regulated me to some quick trips to the range to preserve the small amount of sanity I have left! It was hot, sweating in the shade hot, but it didn't stop them from eating. 1630-1900 hrs at a steady pace so I could not zero in on a perfect time. Although I have dialed in my AR, Mini 14 & 30 and 10/22 I grabbed the Bordon 6mm Dasher with 105 grain A-Max. Got the first one walking in at a whopping 46 yards. I had that field pretty well cleared and it looks like he migrated out from the tree line and cleared out a vacant hole. Sat down and got 4 more from 365, 310, 280 and 265 yards. Had a miss at 390 as it was partially obscured by grass and not knowing the distance between the grass and it made me wish I would have waited it out. One gets a little anxious after a long hiatus. This one was the 365 yard-er and came in at 13.02 lbs. and he had a beautiful coat. If I had the resources it would have made a great hat!
