Since IMR says that their 4451 is a good sub for 4350, I was wondering if anyone has tried it?

Thanks! I may take you up on that in the future. I shoot a 6x47L and I was curious since 4350 is hard to come by.It is less dense than 4350 so it takes up more volume. I could not get enough in a 6.5 Creedmoor (Lapua) case to get velocities attainable with H4350 using a 140-142gr pill. It also produced a bit more 'sooting'. K.C.....I just realized who you are. If you wanted to try some I have an 8lb jug missing about 500gr that is collecting dust. Send me a PM if you want to try it as it needs to be shot. I can bring it to my Lafayette office and you can pick it up anytime.

Thanks! It's doing the trick in my 6x47L
Temp stability isn't as good as advertised, but it's very predictable and repeatable.
Thanks!Works fine in my .284 Shehane.
...since 4350 is hard to come by.
Thanks! As noted above, it's less dense than H4350. If you have room in the case with your H4350 load it may work, but if you are filling close to capacity with H4350 then you cant get enough in there to make it work.
I was lucky to get an 8 pounder a month ago, so I haven’t checked current availability.Got an e-mail yesterday says that may no longer be the case, but I’d act quick as it may be a quick seller.
