416R SS stubs for custom dies

Leftover from barrelmaking operations I have stubs of 1.28" diameter Crucible 416R SS that are too short, and I was thinking of offering pieces of this material for sale to custom gunsmiths for use in making custom dies etc.. What length pieces would be ideal for this purpose? i.e. 3", 4", 4 1/2" 5" ??? Thank you.

I would prefer 5 inch pieces - I can cut the thing to whatever
length I need for a particular use. Do you have any idea what
kind of price you need to get for them?
