416 barrett Data

Hornady reloading manual has loading data for 416 Barrett using 869 powder and 450gr bullet. Can I use the same loading data if I substitute a 400 grain bullet instead-observing pressure signs.
 
I would say contact Hornady & Barrett for 400 gn data just because of the "869" powder. Isn't there a forum dedicated to 1 mile + shooting ? or 50 Cal. shooting ?
