Isn't the XBR stock a 3" wide forearm benchers stock ?

Is that not a hunter class stock ? Factory. I think I know someone that has VBR stock .
I think that’s right. The guns are factory from the late 1960’s.
Is that still a class that requires a 2 1/2” forend?

The 3" fore end fiberglass stocks that came on the 40XB-BR series were an option. They were made by McMillan....most were green. They were the same exact stock as the McMillan 3" BR stocks. Later on, there were some black ones also. I've had two of the green stocks that were NOS from the Remington Custom Shop.

McMillans has other ones legal for short range but they don't inlet those.
Felso composite has two that are legal for short range and they will inlet.

That is the same stock I sell but mine has the aluminum bedding block.

Back in the day, My 40xbr in 6bra would shoot 1 inch at 500 yards in my Revolution stock. No bedding. I have sold about 200 of these stocks. Honestly, everyone LOVES THEM. No joke. Across the board... happy.

These stocks are all over the country competing and do quite well. I have a customer that shot his Quo De Grace action, URB barrel, and Revolution stock to third place in heavy gun in November at the benchrest Nationals.
