Hello all,any thoughts on changing the trigger on my 6.5 swede model 700 based bench rifle? I have a stock trigger now which works fine,i'm not that picky)but I wouldnt mind trying something a that can be adjusted a little lighter. Thanks, Jim

If you are not that picky, then the ~$200 for a Jewell will probably ruin your day. It's a little overkill.

... and adjust it yourself.

I have adjusted so many of these that I have lost count, and I have had only one that couldn't be safely brought down under 2 pounds.

If you don't need the safety and bolt release, you can get the Jewell for around $150.

I tend to be pretty tolerant to heavy triggers. All I really want is a clean break. But, if you've never experienced a Jewell, you should consider one.

The HVR Jewell w/o any options is $160.00 delivered. It adjusts from 1.5 oz-3.5lbs.
With safety and bolt release $195.00 del
All models in stock. greatscott144@yahoo.com

I agree with rstreich, If you have never tried a Jewell you need to. After feeling my first one on a buddy's rifle I bought one. Now I have three of them. They are great clean crisp and adjustable. I have one set at 1.8oz one at 6oz and one at one pound.
Just MHO.
