Searching the interner I found two rifles that in almost identical to the remington 513T thst was made for military training.
Did Winchester and Stevens also receive contracts to make rifles with the same specifications?

Yes, Winchester, H&R and Stevens did make trainer's. Kimber got the contract to make them, after Remington's and Winchester cost too much. A shooting buddy collects all of these. All are great shooters.

My father, a WWII Navy Vet, had a H&R "Leatherneck". I think model was 151. Looked just like all the others of yours. Semi-auto with 10rd detachable box mag. 24in heavy bbl with Redfield micro adjust target peepsight. Very plain stock without checkering. He taught me marksmanship with it. Very accurate.

Several shooting buddies have Government Kimber 82's that can stay with Annie 54's, especially with an aftermarket trigger.

Still thinking about a Winchester 52D or E in original condition. Can't quite find one I can afford!!

I don’t have one for the 82 but use his two stage triggers on the Remington 700 style actions and really like them
