Looks like the weather has broken. Looking forward to it. Now I have to get enough ammo loaded for the whole weekend.

The weather was good, the winds were light, but very tricky, esp when the mirage went away, which happened most of the time for the third relay. Dropped 12 today in the Palma match because of it. The 223 held really really good elevation, but as the temps climbed up to the 90's, the grouping opened up some. X count feel off and it looked like it would hold the mid ten ring. I would say that to shoot in the temps of the 90's, the load might need to be reduced a tenth or two.

After I came off of the line at 1000 yesterday I realized that the last 7 rounds or so I was just shooting and not taking shots. Heat is a funny thing.

Saturday was a great match too. We had 8 TR shooters from all over the region. Winds for the first relay were almost not there. I shot a personal best (actually my 2nd and 3rd would have been but for the 191 in the first match) I was shooting a new bullet for me (178BTHPs) that I'd not had any chance to load test other than 20 rounds in an OCW. They shot great. I got to the pits and got to look at my target with only my shots marked. Was holding a solid 3/4 MOA of vertical at 1000 from virgin WW brass. The come up was only ~1 moa more than 185 Bergers.

Yea, I get that, I see you guys sweating buckets over there. I'll pass... though I do have a coat and plan to try shooting Service Rifle with my AR next yr. You'd think I'd know better.
