Does anyone have any pet loads for 38super, 40S&W, 400corbon, and 45ACP?
Also, I have an RCBS electronic scale/dispenser system,Chargemaster 1500). When using Alli ant and Accurate pistol powders,Power Pistol, Bulls eye, BlueDot,No.5, No.9,etc) the flake powder coats on the internal plastic within a couple of hours. Since I load several hundred rounds per event, it takes several hours. By the time I'm done, the powder scaling completely covers the plastic. I clean it using alcohol and stiff brushes and it takes about an hour to clean. I then dry it in front of a fan to evaporate the alcohol. My biggest worry is that the liquid cleaning may hurt the internal parts for the dispenser system. I emailed RCBS twice and have yet to receive a response.
I use a Hornady Pro-Jector progressive press and I have the same problems with these powders in the Hornady automatic powder dispenser. And it has a metal funnel base.
I just started reloading again last year after a 20+ year hiatus. I don't remember these powder interactions from previous experience. Does anybody else have these problems? Is there a coating that can be applied to the dispensers? Any input is greatly appreciated.
