38 Spl / 357 Magnum / 357 Maximum Chambering

The info - run the maximum reamer in . Now you have a maximum. Really that easy. Only issue is the max runs higher pressures.

Single Shot Rifle.223 Rem/5.56, .243 Win, .308 Win, .44 Mag/Spl, .45-70 Gov't, .30-30, .357 Mag/.38 Spl

They offer it in full size rifle cartridges, so the maximum should be just what the doctor ordered

Its a common industry practise to heat treat differently if its for a lower pressure round. Just because they make 1 in 243 doesnt mean the 357 is the same. Email henry and ask?
H&R used different steel/treats on shotguns and pistol stuff.

Not to mention the proofing. I bet a 357mag proof still isnt equal to a 357max. It would be good if it was proofed to a max, but a 243 isnt proofed the same as a 7mm ultramag even though they may be made in the same model

Very well could be the case that they heat treat the receivers differently.

But I have a friendly 1 dollar bet that they are all heat treated the same. Would love to hear what henry has to say.
