Thanks for input. Yep, threads already at #8. I've got new mounts, and will use a shooting bag of some sorts for steadying rifle. I'll have to wait just a bit for testing due to recent back surgery.

Perhaps a good muzzle brake.

I used the SAAMI recoil calculations and came to the conclusion that about half the recoil on my 300 RUM was due to the powder. I think it would be a little less for the 375 RUM, but still substantial.

The NightForce direct mount may be worth trying, though while strong, I think they leaned towards weight savings.

You need to put a slow motion camera on this thing while shooting. I'd be really curious to see all the flex going on.
