36X scopes

I was rummaging through some boxes in the basement and ran across a couple of 36X scopes that I haven't seen in a while. My comp rifles are both sporting NightForce scopes and I had forgotten about these two fixed powers.

One is a silver Leupold and the other is an older Japanese Tasco with great optics.

Does anybody still use fixed power 36Xs? If so, what discipline and at what range are they still being used and desired?

Thanks

I use some on some several rifles I shoot at some of my local club matches, one is a Sightron SSII and the other is an older Tasco (Japan) 36x with the rear parallax adjustment.
Nothing wrong with using them IMO.
