35mm tube advantages over 30mm?

I would guess better light transmission what else would there be? Also what disadvantages if any and what high magnification scopes of high quality come with 35mm tubes? Thanks PG

More room for elevation and windage internal parts would get you more moa adjustment with 1/8 moa adjustments......that would be my want.

March makes a 34mm tube with their X model, The range of windage and elevation are the same as the 30mm scopes. According to Kelbly's, the only difference with the Marches is 10 times zoom range for the 34mm X scopes versus 6 times zoom range for the 30mm scopes and the 56mm X scopes should let a little more light through than the 52mm models. Here is the link to the March specs page: http://www.deon.co.jp/march/MarchSCOPE-spec.pdf

I don't know about other manufactures of 34-35mm scopes.

IOR Valdata's are all 35mm I think they may have one model that has a 40mm. They make a 3X18 4x28 9X36 nad some others
