All I'm finding is Starline. Is there a better choice?
I don’t own a .357 max but I can almost guarantee the starline is far superior to Remington brass!I would not consider Starline revolver brass a bad thing at all. What is better?
I run Starline 357 Magnum brass hard out of my 357 FA83...very hard. The brass doesn't seem to care and the revolver for sure doesn't.
I am not positive on their 357 Max brass, but they did make 360 DW brass some years ago that had a thicker or heavier head. I have some cut back to 357 Magnum length (fitted to that specific FA83) that also saw heavy loads. They have been reloaded many times and still are good as new.
I went to Starlines website to make sure I remembered correctly about the 360 DW brass (I was) and also checked their 357 Max brass. It also has thicker tapered walls. As there probably isn't much Remington 357 Max brass available, I am not sure there is a better choice. Heck, even if there is Remington 357 Max brass available, I am not sure it is a better choice.
I’ll second that. You cannot go wrong with Starline.I don’t own a .357 max but I can almost guarantee the starline is far superior to Remington brass!
