350 legend. Who has taken a few deer with one?

I searched some threads, but everything that came up was a few years old and not many guys had much experience with the cartridge yet. Now that they have been out a few more years does anyone have much experience with one? Just looking for your thoughts on the cartridge in general for deer hunting. I was thinking of adding an ar upper to my inventory and was debating between a 6.5 grendel or a 350 legend. I just built a grendel for my 12yo daughter, but we haven’t taken any deer with it yet, I am kind of on the fence because the legend sounds interesting yet part of me thinks it really doesn’t may not have any advantage over the 6.5 if we are not restricted to straight wall cartridges.

No advantage over 6.5. I built a 350 for shits and giggles. I like shooting it, I think of it as my 30-30 AR.

350 Legend if factory ammo or component availability are of concern to you. Seems I see it everywhere but Grendel stuff is unobtainable.

A farmer buddy & one of his friends both took deer this past season with 350's, one frontal chest shot, doe , found the bullet fully mushroomed near the tailbone almost exiting out the back end!
other one, doe, broadside through & through, fair sized hole out backside,
front shot doe drt, broadside shot doe only ran 35 yards or so

Stick with the Grendel. There are LOTS of 350's in my area. They certainly kill deer but most guys shooting them dont like the recoil from a 450B. Most of these are cheap bolt guns with no brakes and the recoil on a light 450 is significant.
