35 gr NTX in a Hornet ?

I was looking at my 9th edition Hornady manual and noticed that the 35 gr NTX bullet isn't listed for the 22 Hornet!! Any reason why it's not listed?? You would think it's a good fit the hornet. Since it has a higher BC than the 35gr v max. Just curious about it !!
Thanx again,
Rmist

Probably because it is a non lead core for use in California. I don't see why you cant try some to see how they shoot. Unless you have an old hornet with a .223 bore.

No mine are the newer .224 bore diameter. Seems like they would have a little better trajectory and the higher BC might be able to shoot them a little further. Would you use the 35 Gr V-max data to try and work up a load ?

Yes I would but start low and work up slowly till you see good accuracy without pressure signs. What powder do you use for this weight?
