34mm ring height help

Scope details: Burris XTR II (50mm objective) in Kelbly standard height old style picatinny rings on a Kelbly picatinny rail.

The scope is too high but I can't seem to find any LOW 34mm picatinny rings. The standard height is 1.28", the shorts measure 1.1". I mounted these rings but I haven't even fired a single shot with them because they're too high.

I don't need nor do I want 6 screw tactical rings. They just seem like overkill for my purposes.

Does anyone have a suggestion on lower rings?

Keith

I use millet 34mm low rings. 6-cap, very wide and I think they're by far the best bang for your buck.

When I get home in the morning I'll post a pic or 2 with them so you can see how low they are.

Opticsplanet is where I got them from for very little money.

Here is a couple pics of the Millet 34mm low rings...

I apologize about the quality of the pics... I had to direct them through photobucket because I kept getting an error when trying to upload them through the forum.
