Friday evening it was overcast and no wind. Great time to go long. Junebug and I set up at 1462 yards. I took 4 sighters and shot 5 was a hit. Missed shot 6 by inches left, then hit on shot 7, 8, and 9. I then let Shayne take shot #10. The flasher was plainly visible and sometimes we heard the clang.
Bug had two hits on the 18 in plate and then hit the torso silhouette twice. His hits were with lead core bullets and make a dark spot. My hits were with copper alloy solids and made small round marks.
Junebug had two hits on the 18 inch plate. Top noon hit was a fireforming round with a solid 277 gr Cutting Edge and the lower 5 o'clock black hit was with lead core Berger 300 gr.
