338 edge powder choice?

Looking for suggestions on good powders for 338 edge other than h1000 or n570.

Let me know what works good for you guys, 250grn bullets and up.

Yea, that’s 180 fps faster than my 30” edge with N570.

H1000 tuned easy and shot great near and far for me. Good on temp and barrel life. Just doesn’t keep up with some of the others on the top end.

I use Re33, 102gr and 285gr bullet 2970fps from 30" barrel. Loader1 has a crazy unique barrel.

I bought an 8lb jug of N568, tried it in a 300WM, I couldn't stuff enough in a case to get to reasonable velocity. So I must expect it would make a good 338 Edge powder. Given the complete lack of availability of Alliant powders, I expect I may run out of Re33 and have to try it.

Saturday, Shot a ladder of 300gr OTM over LRT in ADG brass 2x fired, it was 90° ~1200' elevation. Barrel is a 28" benchmark with about a 700 round count. Looks like theres a node or two in there. Pressure was good up to 102.5gr, didn't go higher. I need to shoot again to confirm velocity, but if my preliminary numbers hold; It looks like a real winner in my rifle. Intend to test again this weekend at 5000' elevation and cooler temps and hopefully out to 1k yards. Definitely worth a shot given availability.

It’s scarce but it’s out there. Been some trickling in, 8 pounders are better but you can’t always be picky.

101.8gr of LRT 300gr OTM. Velocity averaged 2925 on my Chrono. 55° and 10ish mph full value wind. 625 yards, dialed 3.0mils elevation and 0.5 hold for wind, 4800' elevation. First hit was low, added 0.1 mil and fired 5 more. I'd say LRT works in the Edge. My velocity was markedly higher when I shot in 90° heat though, so the LRT might be sensitive on the upper end of temps or my cheap Chrono was having a bad day.

I get a similar speed with 96.5 of N570

I have 2 and load for 2 others. ALL liked H1000, but I switched to RL 33. Just as accurate, but a 100' per second faster than the H 1000.
