Little extra ump above my BRX or Dasher with this 6 XC 7.5 twist 30 inch 1.250 no taper Krieger, Bat SB dual port, pushing 115 DTAC's at 3083 fps SD-3. The stock is a 18.5 lb Scoville that Sam Hall let me take off his hands.
I bought the Scoville for my 375 Cheytac project but while I am waiting on that, I decided to go ahead and familiarize myself with the Scoville and decided to mount my XC in it. The Cheytac is a Stiller TAC 408 action that is 10.5 inches long. The extra 2 inch length required a new block with a notch cut in it for the longer action. I bought the action nearly two years ago. About that time I got mesmerized by my 284 and put the Cheytac out of mind as I was having trouble finding a barrel. Greg Young (Bugholes) with Southern Precision Rifles ordered a 36 inch, 1.450 straight Bartlein and a couple of months later it arrived. Then I found out that it was going to be a problem to fit such a large barrel in a stock. The month search for a suitable stock began and during a phone conversation with Sam he said he might have something.
Bugholes had a 375 Reamer and did the barrel work. I then sent the barreled action and stock to Tracy Milsap (Big Bore Bat Shooter) to have the new block milled. While I am waiting I decided to go ahead and try the Scoville.
Sunday I was up waiting for daylight and decided to install the Bat 6 XC into the stock. Everything went smoothly and I think I am going to like the barrel block.

Tim Claunch of Memphis did the barrel work and brake

Last month I did the barrel break-in and load tested with RL- 17 and IMR 4350. Looks like 4350 is going to get the nod.

Next thing is to test at 1,000 plus
Tim Claunch did his job and now it is up to me
