30x47 LOADS

I have just done a search of the site feeling sure there would be some load data for the 30x47 but to no avail so has anyone got any load data for this as i am thinking of chambering for 30X47 Lapua and would like to know how the old cartridge worked Velocity's and powder load etc as i would expect more from the new case primer configuration.

I am shooting mine with Win brass and a 133 RonAl bullet and 75 clicks of VV135. This is set up as a HBR rifle and I took second in the WI state shoot this year with it.

Thank You for the reply but 75 Clicks of VV N135 dosent mean a lot.
Do you know what weight that equates to and what velocity you are getting.
Also what is your parent case is it the 308 Winchester or the 222 magnum.

Sorry, I take it for granted most guys use Harrel measures, I think it is 42.6g and in 300 Savage reformed brass. No clue on FPS but would guess at 2900.

I shoot a similar wildcat cartridge made out of .308 cases called a .30 OBT for Hunter Benchrest. 37-38 grs of H4895E behind a 125-134gr custom bullet works fine. I actually just made up 50 new cases from the 6.5x47 Lapua. Had to trim the neck back .020" for my chamber but it was a lot easier than from the .308 cases. We'll see how they shoot.

Would be very interested in how they go Shoot44 so keep me posted.
Might see if i can get hold of an old Palma barrel and rechamber just for trial before i commit a new barrel i am driveing the 125 ballistic tips at 3,000fps in the 30BR but no more powder room so bigger case slower powder BM2/Benchmark 2 or Ar2206H/H4895 we are getting 2900fps with 130gr 7mm with 39.3gr Ar2208/Varget
