30BR question

My inquiry has probably been hashed out before but I wore out searching.

I would like to have a Remington 700 sporter in 30BR.....only if it will function extremely well as a repeater.
How well does the Bryant alteration work with the 30BR?
Anyone have experience with this set-up?

On some rifles it works great and others just most of the time.

Make up some dummy 30 BR rounds, find a Rem 700 short action in 22-250. Load up the magazine
with the dummies and see if they will feed consistently into the chamber. That is not your final solution
but it will give you an idea if there are going to be "timing" issues with the 30 BR.

Use MagPul center feed magazine for 22-250 it will work everytime..

Apologies to the OP, what bottom metal are you using with the Magpul magazine?

Legacy Sports bottom components and magazines will be a drop in replacement for the Remington BDL bottom metal...
