Great info. I am about to try a 30br and have some of those 115 Berger’s on the way.115 gr. Berger F B 34.7 gr. H-4198 Fed 205GM M primer. Almost as accurate as Bart's 112 F B with same load data. My barrel is 24 inch 1 -17 Tw. LEFT 5-shot gp. 100 yds. Berger 115 gr. F B
RIGHT 5-shot gp. 100 yds. Bart's 112 gr. F B
Nice. They will shoot better close to the lands in my rifle .010 or closer.Great info. I am about to try a 30br and have some of those 115 Berger’s on the way.
I found a box of those and shot 1 5-shot group. Was in the 3 s I believe but have not revisited.Try some Speer TNT 125s if you can find some. I got a lot of suggestions from guys that shot them. They say they shoot great for a cheap bullet. I bought some to try but haven’t done it yet. I bought a 6.5x47 and fell in love.
+ 1 on that one.Speer 125's work pretty decent if you sort them out. I wouldn't take them to a match but for plinking they work.
Very similar here, I am at 34.5 gr of H4198 with BIB 11i8s and 34.7 with his 112s, same powder. My rifle also has a. 332 neck.I use a 24” HV profile. My rifle shoots 10s and Xs with 34.2 gr of H4198 or N130, and 115 Bergers or 118 gr 7 ogive Bibs. It’s a .332 neck chamber.
Lots of good load info here.
