30br forming?

I picked up a set of redding 30br dies and was wodering if this was the tapered button that some use to neck up their brass?

Does anyone here use this button to do this or a dedicated mandrel? I have a PMA mandrel as well.

Yes, U r correct on the tapered button. Some say it's best to neck up with this button in one step and some say step it up with mandrels. I stepped mine up and still lost 2 pcs. of new Lapua brass due to split necks.

yep.. that exact button will work fine. one tip is to put a little imperial sizing die wax on a Q-tip and use it to coat the inside of the 6mm case neck before running it in the die.
