30br dies

hi all, im having a 30 br built and was wondering what i need for dies? i have all the wilson dies in 6br, can i use these for the 30 or shuld i buy a new set ?

You'll need a seater and I'd think full length die (Harrells). You can use the Wilson neck die with 30 bushing for neck sizing.

Redding makes a 30BR competition seater, but not the sizer die. I bought a Harrells F/L bushing sizer. Send them 3 fired cases and $70; you will have it in a week or less.

Redding makes a set with neck die, body die, seater and comes with the expander for necking up to 30. Works very well.

As I recall the 6BR and 30BR have different dimensions. Buy a Wilson 30BR straight line seating die with or without a micrometer top and a Harrell's 30BR Full Length die with bushing capability.

Hope you went with a Harrells Sizing die. That coupled with a few bushings, and your brass will love you.

If you are using the Robinett reamer then just call Harrell. You will need the 2.5 B FL die.
