30 BR DIES

What do I need to buy for 30BR reloading dies? I have 6BR dies. The rifle will not be used in competition.

I am having a 30BR built which is the final stages. I have purchased a Redding Type S Bushing Full Sizing Die (77524) and a Wilson Inline Seater Die upon the recommendation of two experienced 30BR shooters, one who holds the World's Record in the 600 yd competition shoot. Like you, I am shooting strictly for enjoyment and not for competition. If I were to shoot for competition, then I'd revisit this topic and would add other dies to my arsenal. I bought the Redding type S set for neck sizing. I ended up buying the body sizing die later. On the plus side, the neck set came with the expander button for the neck.

Check Harrell's Precision they sell a great FL bushing die that will do everything you need to do in sizing. As far as seating, you can even get away with a 308 seater if you have one laying around.

Redding provides the same feature with their Type S FL Die as well.

Tinman, If I were going to compete, Harrell would definitely be on my list to get dies from for my 30BR.

Thanks for the die info. Right now buying the rifle is on hold. My gunsmith isn't doing and barrel work for at least 3 months. I cannot find 112 gr bullets any where.
