For you guys shooting regular LR Lapua brass with these loads (+43g Varget), what has been the life expectancy of your primer pockets?
I'm starting to scrap them at 8x due to loose pockets. I'm verifying dimensions with a 0.210 pin gage
What are you guys getting?
I'm up to 11x on my Lapua brass and they're still looking good fore more (and even got to 11x on some Federal brass and pockets were still good, but about to get case head separation).
I use a Swage Gage from Ballistic Tools to look for pockets that are too large. It's like a go no-go gage where the no-go side measures .210 and the go side is .208 (see pic).
