308 win with 185gr D-46 info needed

Just got a 308 put together, and got a bunch of MOLLIED .309 dia. 185gr D-46 lapua/speer bullet to fire thru it. The Rifle is throated for the heavies and I'm running Lapua brass in a 24 inch barrel. Anyone run this combo or have ideas on velocity i may be running? Hoping for around 2700fps. I have a bunch of IMR 4064, RL 17 so hopefully one of these will work. Thanks

I used a lot back in the late 1990s and found it excellent and capable of very good accuracy. The only reason I stopped using them was availability here in the UK.

I used Viht N150 in mine. I think you'll be pushing hard to 2700 fps.

I was shooting for 2700, but not counting on it. Ive never ran mollies in a 308 before and was hoping it would help if theres enough case volume to take avantage of it. anyone have advise about using the moly bullets in the 308?

I just moly'd 200 D46's my self for use in a TRG barreled Tikka 595. I can get 2700 with moly'd 178 Amax's without any signs using both Varget and RL15. I think I noticed that the bearing surface on the D46 is fairly short compared to the 178, so I'm thinking 2700 should be achievable with it. I get 2700 with the 178's over 44.3 Varg/ 44.7 RL15 without issues so far. 34* F ambient when tested last, might have to come down a few tenths once spring decides to roll around.
